BASIC RULE no1: Research.
Take time to research as many affiliate programs as you can and always check for
feedback and testimonials when researching affiliate programs
There are many forms of affiliate marketing out there with various compensation plans,
Most will be free to sign up while others will request a sign up fee.
There are programs out there that offer you a free trail period this is a great way to
test drive the program to see if it can work for you.
You will also come across affiliate programs out there that offer a which complete turnkey
business in a box which may include:
Website setup Fully loaded with affiliate links in place for you to start earning
money straight away, With most offering free training with bonus tools which alone
could save you a hole host of time and effort and for a novice starting out this is a
great way to start your affiliate marketing business.
BASIC RULE no2: Chose your affiliate programs.
Once you have researched the many programs out there you need to make a decision on which
affiliate programs you are going to sign up to, Weather or not you intend to focus on
one or two affiliate programs or to promote a hole host of programs together.
